Refund policy
At IF & Co., every jewelry piece is crafted with care, precision, and long term wear in mind. Because many of our pieces involve specialized labor, careful preparation and precious materials, all purchases are subject to the terms below. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we aim to be fair and reasonable while also protecting the integrity of our production process.
Eligibility for Returns
- Returns may be requested within 14 days of confirmed delivery for eligible items.
- Items must be unworn, unused, unaltered, and returned in the same condition in which they were received. All original packaging, protective materials, inserts, and components must be included. Items returned with signs of wear, damage, alteration, missing packaging, or insufficient protection during return shipping may be denied or subject to additional deductions.
- Custom, made to order, personalized, or modified jewelry is generally considered final sale. Once production has begun, orders may not be canceled and deposits are non-refundable.
- Due to the nature of fine jewelry, skilled labor, and fluctuating material costs, approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee. Restocking fees are assessed on a case by case basis based on the item type, production stage, condition upon return, and handling or refurbishment required.
Returns & Exchanges
- Approved returns are eligible for exchange or store credit only.
- Refunds are not offered as part of our standard policy. However, if a refund is approved for a return or canceled order, a minimum 10% deduction will be applied to cover all unavoidable order preparation, handling, and processing fees.
- Original outbound shipping, return shipping, insurance and related fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any approved return. For international shipments, customs duty, tax, and other related international shipping costs are not refundable.
- Store credit or exchanges apply solely to the original item value and do not include shipping, taxes, duties, or fees.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange unless explicitly approved by our team:
- Custom designed, made to order pieces, and special orders
- Engraved or personalized jewelry
- Items altered upon request, including resized rings
Damage or Defect Claims
Any claim of damage or defect must be reported within 24 hours of delivery and supported with clear photographic or video evidence. Once delivery is confirmed, responsibility for the item transfers to the customer. Damage occurring after delivery, including damage caused by wear, mishandling, improper storage, or inadequate return packaging, can not be eligible for refund, exchange, or replacement.
Abandoned Orders
Orders requiring customer input, approvals, selections, or responses must progress in a timely manner. If an order becomes inactive for an unreasonable period of time without response or remains stalled at a particular stage for a prolonged length of time, we reserve the right to consider the order forfeited. Deposits may be retained to cover allocated labor and time, preparation of raw materials and supplies, and other related costs provided toward your order. If any portion of the initial deposit remains after such costs are accounted for, it may be refunded at our discretion. Although we aim to act fairly and will always attempt to re-establish contact before taking action, we are not obligated to hold production resources indefinitely for such inactive or forfeited orders.
Initiating a Return
To request a return, please email sales@ifandco.com with your order number, request, and reason for return. If approved, you will receive return instructions.

Please note, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or incorrectly fulfilled. Local customers are welcome to visit our Los Angeles showroom for approved returns or exchanges.
