So yesterday was a crazy one!
I had a lot of work to do, a lot of research and reading to do and on top of that, I had TK’s shoe release at Factory 413 and they were also filming his new TV show debuting on BET “The Kennedy’s”
right after that, I had to shoot over to Fox News studios to do my short debate with Michael Caulfield and his partner who were really cool guys…. I got to meet Christine Devine too which was nice!
so when I got to the event, it was nice to see my supra fam and TK’s family and my fly society fam!
I got there early obviously because I had to leave and there was BBQ and a BAR but my stomach was lightweight nervous over the interviews and such….
I got to chop it up with a very very old friend of mine Cash Warren (Jessica Albas husband) who is the executive producer of TK’s new reality TV show…. we been friends a long time, so we got to talk about his show and how his daughter is doing and so on and so forth….
It was a chill event and I couldn’t stay long, but still stayed for over an hour.
here are some pics
speaking of fam…
congrats TK, I’m so fucking proud homey!
thank you to Joy, Angel and the entire KR3W and Supra staff and Cash Warren and Fly Society
my mind was elsewhere though, no lie…. I tried to keep focused on the major topic at hand; conflict free diamonds and my interview on Fox News…
so I got to the station and the security was tight! but my name was on the list and I was all good!
and then I went into makeup to get some shine….. and powder to cover up a brand new pimple (of course it would pop up just before I go live on air! smh)
I wasn’t nervous being on camera as I’ve been live and in front of camera over 100x easy, but the topic was such a delicate one and a touchy one I had to make sure to be a little more less brash than the usual Ben Baller that people have seen in the past. We also didn’t have much time to really discuss the matters at hand… but all in all, I’m glad I got to do this and I’m glad to have met Michael Caulfield and his partner Adisa; congrats on your foundation and it’s really admirable what you guys are doing out there in Africa.
me, Adisa & Michael (they produced/directed the short movie “a day without mines” and they also have a foundation helping the youth in Sierra Leone…. Michael Caulfield is actually one of the founders of Wireimage.com which is huge! and by stupid random chance… he’s a classmate of mine from high school! haha, damn. not an australian film maker who I thought at first (google isn’t always your friend)
for those who didn’t catch the interview, I tivo’d it and recorded it as best as I could
here it is:
thank you Fox News, thank you Heidi Cuda, Christine Devine and Michael Caulfield and Adisa and of course my girlfriend Nicolette for being by my side the entire night…. thank you Darlene and Ice for referring me to do this interview on such a controversial subject.
god bless everyone…
I FINALLY FINISHED MY BE@RBRICK WALL WHICH I’LL UPDATE LATER!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! NO FUCK THAT, MAKE IT A GREAT WEEKEND!
